ART MEETS FASHION IN A COLLABORATION WITH DE BORTOLI WINES
As a proud participant of PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Independent Programme, luxury fashion met heritage wine in an afternoon of the perfect pairing. An exclusive viewing of VICETA WANG’s Autumn Winter 2024 collection was set against the backdrop of De Bortoli’s vineyards in the heart of the Yarra Valley.
A flurry of evening gowns cascaded through a crowd of luxury lovers sipping on a locally crafted glass of wine. Highlights included gathered velvet numbers with asymmetrical cut-outs, calla lily accents coming to life in embroidered as well as 3D forms, and a return of VICETA WANG's signature cascading ruffles appearing in a few ensembles.
The collection's colour palette displayed the vibrancy and energy of springtime blooms, while the elongated and billowing a-line silhouettes were a familiar nod to a summer femininity. The backdrop of rolling hills made for the perfect decadent afternoon getaway.
