VICETA WANG 8 Year Celebration proudly supporting Children's Cancer Foundation

On Friday, 7 November, the Chadstone Hotel Ballroom transformed into a radiant celebration of style and social impact, as VICETA WANG marked its 8-year anniversary with a spectacular charity luncheon and the Australian debut runway show of the label’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, SILENT POETRY.
The daytime event buzzed with warmth and excitement—170 guests, a blend of old friends and new supporters, gathered together with a shared purpose: to celebrate a milestone for a luxury fashion house while raising essential funds for the Children’s Cancer Foundation.

With every guest contributing $50 from their ticket toward the cause—and additional fundraising through the live auction, raffle ticket sales, generous donations, and VICETA WANG Charity T-Shirt sales — the spirit of giving was unmistakable. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity in the room, the fundraising efforts reached an inspiring total of $72,401. The afternoon’s festivities began with heartfelt opening speeches by Viceta Wang herself, followed by words from the event’s sponsor, Fenjiu International—the globally renowned Chinese distilled spirit company. Fenjiu International elevated the atmosphere with their exquisite, limited-edition blue cocktail: “Porcelain Dream” which was infused with the spirit of Fenjiu—“where light and shadow intertwined in a poetic fusion of East and West.”

The crowd was soon enthralled by the runway presentation of VICETA WANG’s SS26 collection, SILENT POETRY—a collection that debuted in Paris during Paris Fashion Week 2025. Its transformative silhouettes, refined craftsmanship, and whispering fluidity captured an audience already enraptured by the meaning behind the event.
Following the show, the event shifted into a deeply emotional moment. Sally Armstrong, CEO of the Children’s Cancer Foundation, delivered a stirring speech on the progress being made in childhood cancer research and the life-changing impact of continued community support.
She was followed by the inspiring Tyler Miranda, a childhood cancer survivor, whose moving personal story brought clarity to the purpose of the luncheon. Her words highlighted the transformative power of research, support services, and community fundraising—offering hope for safer, more effective treatments for childhood cancer patients.
A decadent lunch followed, leading into a suspenseful live auction. The most coveted piece of the afternoon—a masterful lotus flower painting hand-drawn by Gesang Danzen Rinpoche of Songzanlin Monastery—achieved the highest bid of the day at $16,500.
All auction and raffle items, including a hand-embroidered silk artwork, were generously donated by VICETA WANG clients, friends, and business partners, demonstrating the strength and unity of the VICETA WANG community.

A lively raffle draw concluded the activity portion of the event before the grand reveal of the day’s fundraising achievements. Viceta Wang, together with the event’s sponsor, proudly presented the donation total to Sally Armstrong, marking one of the brand’s most meaningful contributions to date.
Among the distinguished attendees were special guests Caroline (Ralph) Ralphsmith, CEO of PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival, actress Sharon Johal, and other cherished partners and supporters who have stood alongside the brand on its journey of creativity and philanthropy.

Since 2022, VICETA WANG has shown an unwavering dedication to supporting Australian charitable organisations—donating over AUD 300,000 to causes that strengthen and uplift the community.
This event was yet another beautiful testament to the brand’s ethos: that true beauty lies not only in creation, but in compassion.

To every guest, partner, sponsor, and supporter—thank you for making this milestone celebration both unforgettable and impactful.
