VICETA WANG is proud to share a milestone moment in September 2025, when the brand had the honour of designing two unique outfits for the Hon. Jacinta Allan, Premier of Victoria. These powerful ensembles were crafted for the Premier’s official trade delegation to China, where the founder, Viceta Wang, was invited to represent Victoria’s design industry on the international stage.
VICETA WANG had the honour of being entrusted with creating the Premier’s bespoke jacket and suit for both the Victorian Government China Strategy Launch and the Visit Victoria Brand Launch Event. These pieces were thoughtfully crafted to reflect the strength, unity, and cultural connection embodied in the visit.
“The bright rose-red colour represents women's passion and independence. The jacquard fabric is paired with a Chinese-style collar, honouring Chinese culture while showing the wisdom and confidence of women moving freely across different cultures.”
“We chose a vibrant emerald green, symbolising women's strength and inclusiveness, like the earth. The silk-wool suit has a confident, tailored cut. Green is also one of Australia's national colours, which gives this piece a strong cultural meaning - showing the modern woman who can nurture life and also stand tall like a eucalyptus tree.”
Travelling alongside the Premier’s official delegation, Viceta supported efforts to strengthen China–Australia relations while proudly advocating for the contribution of Chinese artisans living and thriving in Australia. It was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate craftsmanship, cultural exchange, and Victoria’s vibrant design community.
Mr Wu Chun, the acclaimed singer, actor, and entrepreneur, attended the Visit Victoria Brand Launch Event in Shanghai, lending his star power to support the initiative alongside the Premier.
