The 2025 PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival once again proved why it holds its crown as Australia’s premier consumer fashion event. Held in the grand halls of the iconic Melbourne Exhibition Building, this year’s celebration of creativity and diversity delivered unforgettable moments across its many runways. But amid the layers of winter styling and street-savvy looks, the Resort Glam runway offered a breath of balmy air—an ethereal escape to a place where summer never ends.
At the heart of this resort-themed reverie was VICETA WANG, making a striking debut with its first-ever resort collection titled "Floral Odyssey."
Celebrating feminine energy and nature, “Floral Odyssey” marks a new chapter for VICETA WANG, marrying the brand’s signature elevated femininity with a fresh resort flavour. The collection explores the delicate yet powerful essence of feminine energy through the lens of nature—imagining a utopia where identity is celebrated, expression is effortless, and every piece tells a story of strength and softness in equal measure.
Drawing from the brand’s heritage, the collection features handcrafted techniques, delicate silk flowers, and dramatic fringe details, bringing artistry to the forefront. Through its palette and silhouettes, “Floral Odyssey” evokes a dreamscape garden where movement and structure coexist—refined tailoring meets flowing forms, soft ruffles echo alongside architectural lines.
The runway came alive with two signature floral prints and a spectrum of soft resort hues—pastel greens, sunshine yellows, blush pinks, warm oranges, and muted golds.
